New year, new thriller, new website!
Hello, and welcome to my new website!
This is where I’ll be talking about new thrillers, book-related events, updates, bonus content for readers and the chance to win signed copies of my novels. If you’d like to be first to hear about this (and lots of other stuff), please do subscribe to my Readers’ Club in the sign-up box at the bottom of this page. I won’t spam you with loads of emails. Promise.
Anyway… my name’s Tim, aka TM Logan (the TM stands for Timothy Michael, but no-one calls me Timothy except my mum). I was a journalist for quite a few years, and then worked in communications at the University of Nottingham before taking redundancy a few months after my first book came out. Taking that leap felt like a bit of a gamble, but I love writing full-time and I’m lucky enough to have two books out in the world now with a third on the way.
My third book, THE HOLIDAY, comes out on July 25th, 2019. Imagine going on the holiday of a lifetime with your three best friends, plus partners and children in tow. The south of France in high summer, a luxury villa with the Mediterranean on your doorstep. Sounds perfect, doesn’t it? There’s just one problem: there is suspicion in the air. The Languedoc wine is tainted with the bitter taste of betrayal. There are secrets among your friends that someone is prepared to kill for, and a murder waiting to happen…
I’ll be having a launch event in my hometown of Nottingham, completely free and open to anyone who signs up. There will be bookish chat, a reading, book signing and the wine will flow (French, of course). I’ll be posting on the website soon with more information – watch this space. There will also be book giveaways, stories about the writing of THE HOLIDAY, free content and much more as we run up to publication in the summer.
I’m a big believer in blog posts that are short and sweet. So until next time, thanks again for dropping by and I hope that you’ll be able to join me this summer on THE HOLIDAY.
What I’m reading: The Perfect Betrayal by Lauren North (publishing June 2019) – a cracker of a debut thriller
What I’m watching: You, Godless, The Haunting of Hill House (all Netflix)
What I’m listening to: The Teacher’s Pet podcast – just coming to the end of this amazing Australian true crime series. Brilliant journalism.
Just seen on the big screen: The Favourite. Three incredible lead performances (and I’m a sucker for a bit of history)
