A first taste of my new book!
2026 has been a milestone year for me – the year of #TM10 as my tenth thriller was published. It’s been an amazing year so far and I’ve loved celebrating those ten books and looking back over a decade (!) of T.M. Logan novels.
If you’d like to know what comes next, you’ve come to the right place… here’s a sneak peek of my brand new thriller!
It’s called The Family and it’s a twisty, emotional thriller that starts with a question. What’s more important: justice… or family? If it really came down to it, would you put your family first, or the truth? It’s the story of a blended family shattered by a terrible crime, a tale of loyalty and love and revenge, about dark secrets that refuse to stay buried – and whether we can ever really know those closest to us.
If that whets your appetite, you can pre-order here and be among the first to read when it comes out in February 2027.
I’m deep into the structural edit of The Family at the moment, which means working with early feedback to strengthen the story. This is a really important stage of the process as it takes in all the thoughts, observations and queries from my first readers and uses them to make the book the best it can be. Most of it is done on screen but there are still times when I like to go old-school, printing out pages so I can see the shape of chapters side by side and work with pen and paper.
Editing The Family
Because The Family is set near Nottingham, many of the places featured in the story are close by and it’s nice to fit in some location research in between editing days. Last weekend, Sally and I cycled into the Vale of Belvoir to check out a particular location that features in my 2027 novel. You’ll have to read the book to find out exactly where, all I can say it was up a very steep hill…
Location research!
PS Many thanks to all the Instagram users who helped me hit another #TM10 milestone – 10,000 followers 😊
