It doesn’t feel long ago that I was an aspiring author hoping to get a single book published, hoping my debut Lies might find a few readers when it finally appeared on shelves. And it was beyond my wildest dreams to imagine that a decade later I would be preparing to see my tenth novel published.

This amazing journey, which has included millions of books sold and entries into the bestseller charts, has only been possible because of the support and engagement of fantastic readers.

With 2026 fast approaching my mind has started to turn towards publication of that tenth novel, The Weekend.

I loved writing this story – it’s full of all the twists and turns you’ve come to expect from my books, full of drama and deceit and suspicion as a group of friends find themselves in an extraordinary situation that threatens everything they hold dear. I can't wait for it to be out there in the world.

My publisher is plotting a blockbuster year of celebrations - marking my tenth novel under the banner of #TM10. I can’t wait!
