A special message from Richard Armitage

I was delighted to hear that Richard Armitage will be narrating a new audio version of my first novel, Lies – including a very kind message of congratulations at the start. I’ve been lucky enough to meet Richard and get to know him over the last few years, and he’s already done an amazing job with the audio versions of The Dream Home and The Curfew. Not only is he a very nice guy, but as an actor and narrator he’s one of the best in the business – which makes his message all the more special.

In the meantime, I’m looking forward to receiving the first proofs of my new thriller, The Weekend, very soon. It’s always an exciting moment when you get hold of a proof – it’s when a story makes the leap from being a stack of printed A4 sheets to looking like an actual book complete with a jacket, spine, cover art and proper pages.  I can’t wait to share the first proofs when they arrive!

Published in the UK as The Dream Home (winner of Audiobook of the Year at the Fingerprint Awards in London) The Room in the Attic is coming out in North America in January 2026. I have a new publisher on that side of the Atlantic and it will be the first time I’ve had a book out there since 2020 – it feels good to be back in the USA 😊
