Ready for a Holiday you won't forget?
I’m often asked if I have a favourite among the nine books I’ve written so far.
It’s a tough one to answer, as they’re all special for different reasons.
But The Holiday often springs to mind because it has reached so many people – it was the first book of mine to hit the Sunday Times top ten, the first to be adapted for TV and my first Gold at the Nielsen Bestseller Awards after selling more than 500,000 copies in the UK.
Which is why I’m delighted it’s got a new lease of life this year with a brand new look, after being selected for WHSmith Travel's brand new bookclub! I love the dark and stormy vibes of this new cover for 2025, it really draws you in with hints of trouble in paradise... What do you think?
You’ll be able to find The Holiday in its new summer jacket in all WHSmith travel stores from 24th April, in time for the May bank holiday and beyond into the summer.
So if you haven’t been on The Holiday yet, pack a paperback in your hand luggage and get ready to join Kate, Jennifer, Izzy and Rowan at a sun-soaked villa in the south of France where a dangerous secret is about to spiral into deceit, betrayal, and murder…
In other news, the Amazon Easter Sale has a few days left to run so The Daughter is still available for the bargain price of just £6.80 in hardback. My latest bestselling thriller has an overall average star rating of 4.6 out of 5 from Amazon readers, which I *think* is my highest yet. Grab a copy before the sale ends!
And if you’d like to know what I’ve been busy working on for the last few months, I’ve got an exciting update coming in my next newsletter, so watch this space…
PS I’d love to have your vote in this year’s Fingerprint Awards – The Dream Home has been shortlisted for Crime Audiobook of the Year, with the winner chosen by YOU. It only takes a couple of clicks to cast your vote and I’d really appreciate your support, as it’s up against some very tough competition. Thank you! and the winner is chosen by readers in an open voting system, with results announced at the Capital Crime Awards in June.
