Celebrating a huge bookish milestone!
It’s almost twenty years since I first started writing, in the evenings and weekends, around my day job and family commitments. Back then, I just dreamed of finishing that first novel, perhaps finding an agent who would represent me – maybe even landing that elusive deal with a publisher one day and seeing my book on a shelf.
A lot of words have come and gone since then, and some amazing milestones too.
Paperback launch of Lies, May 2017
But even in my wildest dreams, I didn’t imagine that I’d be writing to you today with such a big smile on my face… because I’ve just heard from my publisher that I’ve now sold THREE MILLION COPIES of my books in the UK!
That figure is a combination of all formats, so whether you’re into e-books, hardbacks, paperbacks or audiobooks, I want to say a huge thank you for picking up one of my thrillers. These stories, these characters, this journey would never have happened without YOU. I truly appreciate your support over the last eight years.
I’ve now sold three million copies in the UK!
It was a dream come true for me back in 2017 when my debut thriller, Lies, finally arrived in bookstores. As my first published book (although not the first one I’d written) it will always have a special place in my heart.
And in case you missed it, we recently revealed the cover for my tenth book, The Weekend, coming 2026. So if you’d like to see what I’ve got in store for you with my book no.10, why not take a look? And of course, it’s available to pre-order now if you’d like to be among the first to read when it hits shelves in February 2026.
I’m heading off to more events over autumn – I’ll be in Maidstone and Basingstoke in October, then Derby and Manchester in November. And needless to say, I’ll be raising a glass to three million as well!
