It's all starting to feel very real now. Not long to go until my tenth book, The Weekend, is released into the world.

I think even by my hundredth book (if I get that far!), these last few weeks before publication will always be a bit nervy. Because I'm a glutton for punishment, I dared to look at some of the early reader reviews this week and I was so relieved to see everyone enjoying it! I try to make every book better than the last and if you want to see for yourself if I've achieved it, you can read a short extract below!

I really don't know what I'd do if I found a bag stuffed full of suspicious money. I like to think I'd hand it in, but that much money would be very hard to say goodbye to...

I headed down to London recently for an evening with the Crime & Thriller press and managed to get some writing for book no.11 done on the train.
